Resolution: "The state or quality of being resolute; firm determination. Resolving to do something…"

Well! It's here! 2010- a new decade... So far we're off to a cold but wonderful start here in Wilmington. Many of us set our sites high with the ever elusive New Year's resolution; some achieve the award of application and success while others....well you know the deal. Here are some statistics along with some fun 'achievable' New Years resolutions that are quite amusing-


Facts:

• 30% of all resolutions are broken within the first week

• The rest of the bunch folds within less than a month

Funnies:

• Give up exercising. FOREVER! All it does it make you sweat like a hog and work up an enormous appetite
• Burn toast- rye, wheat, oat bran, or raisin

• Lose your keys, remote and cell phone on a fairly regular basis

• Use four-letter words after your computer crashes

• Over water or under water plants. Make them turn a pathetic shade of yellow

• Eat as much milk chocolate as you like
